Turned Desk Set

Post by rcf »

Thought I'd post a picture of the deskset I made as a gift for a friend. The clock tower can be turned, it has a clock, temperature, humidity, and picture frame. The entire set was made from recycled solid mahogany. Turned the pen and pencil set and clock tower on the Shopsmith. I love working with mahogany, it turns great.http://www.shopsmith.net/forums/attachm ... 1251157575

Great looking set! You should have one happy friend.

The wood choice makes this a very classy looking piece.

My thanks for all your great comments. I was a bit hesitant about posting a project for the first time, I'm glad I was able to contribute something. Thanks again.

I was looking for those pen holders that screw on the wood. Could you please post a link?
