Mark V's came in model numbers 500, 505, 510, 520. The differences between them are the table systems, and even if you started with a model 500, it could have been upgraded to as high as a 520]Here[/URL] is one chart, but there is another better one. I will look for it.
There are several other groups you can check with and see some of the files and information that will help you a lot. You will find a lot of us on several of these groups and will share information all the time also pictures are good.

Ok, it looks like i have a unit from April 1984. Not to much table space so prob a 500, though i do have a Joiner, Planer, bandsaw and dustcollector. How do i go about sharpening the planer and Joiner blades?? Is it possible to find a user manual, free of charge, and if so, where??

You could send them out to a reputable sharpening service, or...you could spend a little money up frontand sharpen them yourself! If you do knot already have one, you will also need one of these.

IF you go this way, you should get the 150 grit paper for the conical disk.
