I remember when it was a topic a lot but as I see it with the company Home Office getting smaller we are getting bigger trying to keep it alive and back to normal. I am hoping this year will bring some of it back to us and maybe some of us together also. Really wish I had made time from work to go to one of the yearly meeting. Like always was going to go the next year.
That should tell me something. Life keeps changing and don"t miss any opportunity when it is there in front of you to experience.

Yes, I am hoping that all of this new membership turns into a resurgence of Shopsmith users. Even more, I hope that it helps to bring back something similar to the Sawdust Sessions and the Traveling Academy.

At my age, I am not likely to buy a Power Pro but I do intend to keep this Mark V and Crafters Station fine tuned and functional for as long as I can keep using them. Given the way I feel right now that will be for several more years. I tell the grand kids that they should not count on having these items in their garages for at least fifteen years.

Safety will be the terminating factor - I am sure. I catch myself, now and then, doing some pretty stupid things. I usually (but not always) post them for the woodworking world to see so that maybe they too won't make the same blunders.

Shopsmith Shavings/ and Shop Mag publications

Post by etcha »

Hi Im new here
just purchased another ER the 1st a basic w the lathe accessories and 10 years later a more accessorized one w Jointer, scrowsaw, M.W. bandsaw and xtra parts.

Ive been researching the different ways to utilize the unit and realized maybe its better to have one set one way and another a dif way.

Ive since found Shopsmith Shavings which I think was titled initially ShopNotes.

I found almost all Shopsmith Shavings except 1 thru 3 and thats where I found a reply regarding your Shop Mag publications.

Id like to ask for , if possibly no trouble a copy of the three issues published the first three issues of Shopsmith Shavings and Shop Mags.
help out some fellow?

I believe the first three issues are called Shop Notes. You can find 1-3 over on the 10erusers yahoo groups archive site on gmail.
