I got the doll cradle assembled and ready for delivery but not without one small problem. For some reason the 1/4" baltic birch plywood bottom did not fit in the grooves dadoed for it, in spite of the fact I used a 1/4" dado setting. This is the first time that has happened. Perhaps I got too much finish in the grooves. Fortunately I had some birch plywood that was measured in millimetres that fit nicely so it was no big deal to quickly make another.
And now for my bout with stupidity!
I had the four sides of the cd cabinet almost finished and was making the final pass on the router table to make the rabbet for the back panel when I lost focus and passed the front edge of one piece through instead of the back edge. Since the fronts had already been rabetted to show a 1/8" edge proud of the main surface, I'm not sure I can exactly match it if I try to make only one replacement side. I would also have to get that replacement side the exact length as the other as the cabinet is basically a box with mitered corners. I guess I'm in for a little extra work.
All because of a moments inattention, again.

Oh well, hopefully this week will be better.
Have a good and fun week!
