Amazing job Heath. I really like the custom touches and I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss the pollishing either. I think even Mickyd would agree.
By the way, I think it was my black and silver 10ER that you liked per this post http://www.shopsmith.net/forums/showpos ... ostcount=2 If so I will be proud to have had a tiny bit of input into such a fine piece of work.

Outstanding, perfect, unique, creative, top notch!!! I couldn't wait for you to post the pictures.
I've been fortunate enough to work with Heath as he went through the decision process on the paint scheme. I got to see tidbits along with blunders along the way. Heath focused on getting this thing done and getting it done right.
This color scheme in itself even without the Saint customization looks great. And if the black shows dust, so what. That's what they make cleaning cloths for.
Real nice job. Your decision to polish the aluminum was a good one. Long boring process but the results are so noticeable.

Gorgeous job there Heath! I hope my 1954 Greenie will come out as good as yours. I have been in a holding pattern as the weather here in the northeast has been abysmal of late. I want to get started on repainting but the weather has not been on my side. It is supposed to get nice the next few days so I am hopeful I can get painting this weekend. The polishing is just about done on most everything. I have a few odds and ends to still cleanup but most of the big stuff is done. It is a fun adventure I must say.

Big thanks to MickyD for the final touch! I hope I put it in the right place. I didn't verify the precise location first. I stuck it on then hoped I got it right.
He was kind enough to send me the caution label so I wouldn't have to buy a whole package of the Avery label paper for one little label.
MickyD also sent me a full set of new fasteners for my rebuild (which was an enormous help) and he was a great source of guidance and inspiration. His Greenie restoration has certainly set the standard!

The caution label is higher than that on my 'original' goldie, however, That'l do Heath, That'l do!
