Gunhead CnC 7x lathe.

Post by cornelius »

I found this cnc lathe from Gunhead. http://gunhead.com/GMW/index.html

I'm a small shop craftsman(I'd like to think so anyway), and originally I was using a Sherline, but it was always breaking down. There just wasn't a small lathe that was tough enough to do what I needed without constant maintenance. So instead of using a modded car engine(I'm kidding) I found the Gunhead 7x lathe. I bought it, and it does the job. It's made of steel and iron, unlike it's aluminum rivals. Best tool I ever purchased. If your in the market for a decent lathe give Gunhead a serious look.

I think I saw one on ebay too.

Looks cool, way out of my league.

If I were to invest in a CNC I would probably invest in a mill first. What made you choose a lathe?
