Hello I just joind up to the site. I Just recently inheareted a MarkV from my father in law. It is a greenie from 1954. I have done almost all the restoration and cleaning up to date, and I am this close to starting to use it. I can't wait:) I have been looking at them for about 20 years and was blessed to get one. I am just now waiting for a few ordered parts, When they come in I will jump on using my newest home tool. Just wanted to chime in. I love all the coments and pics I have been looking at for the last few days I will likely be chating and asking questions when I really get into using mine. Excited to get going!!

hi ssrestore1 and welcome.
I found the forum and the Shopsmith company site to be an incredible source of info about this wonderful tool, the best I have run across and I am sure you will too. Great bunch of helpful folks here. Try searching for various topics or click on the list of similar messages at the bottom of posts, you can get lost in it for hours. Old postings are well worth browsing too.
Good luck with your Greenie.
