Only problem is that it is on pre-release. I believe Shopsmith started this with the one year pre-release of the new headstock upgrade. Anyway I am on the waiting list with my local dealer. I have always hated smelling that gas exhaust from the Pasload.

Looks interesting. I live walking distance from Senco and use to know all about what was going on there but they have laid off most workers. I knew one guy who worked there close to 40 years and got laid off.
Up to a short time ago only a few industrial type guns were being made here in Cincinnati as well as nails. But that all may be gone now. Not sure.
Yes another sad story of an American great. When I first started in the cabinet trade back in the late 70's Senco was the tool. I paid around $300.00 for thier 15 gauge nailer in the late 80's. Now the big box stores have the knock offs at a little over $100.00. I have even seen some Grizzly and Harbor Freight junk go for around $50.00. Oh did I say that the gun from the 80's is still going strong.

Although it says no ramp up time, I do not see the time required between firings. Nor do I see the number of firings per battery charge. I am sure the depth being driven will affect both of these, which may be why no info!

I have seen about three models of this in the past from Senco, Porter Cable and Dewalt (I guess Dewalt and PC are one and the same now).
Some had a ramp up others had pressure tank that could fire about three or four nails before it needed pump up. The one that had a 3 or 4 nail reserve basically had no ramp up time if you didn't go crazy.
Years ago at a Home Depot Contractors breakfast Senco demo'ed a number of battery operated guns. Some were really really interesting.
After looking again, it appears the pneumatic system is 'closed'. The battery operated motor returns the piston back to its firing position, and in the process re-compresses the gas. Interesting if true!
