I think you are seeing a little backlash here. I think people are getting feed up with so much of the junk on the internet and when a site doesn't move forward or becomes a repository for junk people abandon it. Yahoo was leading edge at on time, then they let money and probably a little bit of laziness get into the way. Today Yahoo is a thing of the past and not even a dinosaur (something to be wondered about).JPG40504 wrote:Sorry!:o I did not realize the link would be 'exclusive'!:)
I think the same thing can and is happening to Shopsmith. I was very excited when Nick came on board, I believe he had a vision of the future. He was putting SS on the cutting edge by not only offering quality tools but videos and teachings on how to use it. No other manufacture that I knew of could touch it. I really believe had Nick been allowed to continue Shopsmith would be back as an industry leader by now. I would love to see a record of SS sales after each Dust session. I will bet you would see a definite spike in the orders for the things Nick demonstrated. Think what Nick could have done for the Power Pro, who knows he might of even convinced me it was worth the cost.
