These were molded with the SS table saw and mitred with a Delta Shopmaster. These were built with 1/32" tolerance. When you take these to the glass shop, you don't have much room for shifting, so they have to be close.

Thanks for the compliments, Dusty. Saw one advertised in Rockler and decided I could make something similar. So, here is the thread on how to make it. I did letter each hole so when I need to make an adjustment, I can put the little block in the right letter hole on each leg. My cost in materials was about $10. Looking forward to seeing your finished product.

Thanks, JPG. The three programs that I have will only reduce to 640 X 480 which is too large to attach here. The mirror was made from rough sawed cedar of a tree that grew in the front yard of my wife's family. All the picture frames were made of the rough sawn cedar. Used the sanding disk to make it all the same thickness -- long and boring--but consistent. Then used the table saw to make the shapes, mitered by compound mitre saw.

Using the framing jig can be a PITA sometimes. I have better success with larger frames.

"Here" accepts 800 x 600.

Try Irfanview! Resize to any size you can specify.

Thanks, JPG. When I try to post a 640 X 480 from Irfan, it works everywhere but on this sight. When I try to attach, the messages flashes up that it must be 500 X 500, no larger. I just can't get a break. You were the one who got me to use the program, so I have immensely enjoyed it ever since. I'll try again later. Thanks for your help.

I assume the 'original' pix is higher resolution. After cropping my pix, I resize to 800 x ??? or ??? x 600. Irfanview retains the original aspect ratio. I only go ??? x 600 when the cropped pix is 'tall'. I try 800 x ??? first. Irfan view will display the resulting pixel counts as you specify them, and lets you change them until you get what you want before actually changing the pix.

I have never seen the 500 x 500 message???? But then I have never tried 640 x 480. Is your original pix 640 x 480? If so resize it to 800 x ??? and upload.

I have used Irfanview since you suggested it last year. It really helps when I try to email these pics. Have reduced all my pics to the smallest size and nothing I have will fit on this website. As explained before, the info tells me that my pics are still too large. I am wondering if IE 9 has something to do with the pic transfer. The pics on the other website takes 640 X 480 with no problems. So I suspect that it must be something about my PC not transferring correctly. Possibly it's because it's a Gateway with an Intel processor. Who knows? I'll try again, later. Thanks for encouraging me.

Gator that jig is realy nice.

Dumb question - how do you keep from glueing the frame to the jig? do you use wax paper?
