OK, another pen blank drilling question....

Have recently purchase the Nova Chuck and want to try drilling pen blanks as some of you do by mounting the blank in the chuck and spinning "into" the drill bit. Question is how to I mount the drill bit to the tail stock ?

Ya put it in a drill chuck that has a #2 morse taper arbor attached to it. Like this one

I use a chuck on the SS to drill blanks, but have found that I get better drilling to put the jacobs chuck on the quill and mount the 4-jaw chuck on the tailstock like this.

As always, thanks for the help. I might have the arbor in my "box of misc stuff", if not $20 to Shopsmith seems reasonable. I've had some success with drilling blanks with other methods, but this seemed accomplish the task with the least amount of reconfiguration.
