Hi,
I'm looking for the proper name for what might have been called a "carved pull" or maybe a "carved cup pull" except they are ones you do with the bandsaw and are not carved but rather shaped using the cut away and tape back in place idea.
Does that make any sence??

Hi,
Yes they are made using compound cuts. So you get a flavor of what I'm talking about look at: woodworker.com/cgi-bin/FULLPRES.exe?PARTNUM=938-811
This is an example of a carved drawer pull. Now picture the ends be a bit fancier (flared) and this whole thing done on a bandsaw. Now I've made these some years back and for the life of me I can not remember what they were called. Nor do I remember where I got the idea from.
So I'm still looking for a name so I can try looking them up on the web. Everything I've tried so far hasn't gotten me to what I want, so there for I must be using the wrong names or descriptions.
