This project is moving a little bit slower than anticipated due to surgery last week. However, here's a status:
1) The documentation should be updated today with the motor upgrade at 100%, the new feed controller at 60%, and the final two sections at 20%.
2) I've received one note about making parts, or all, of the modifications available for a reasonable fee. This includes finished and ready to go kits. If you are interested then please email me with what you would like to see available. Personally, I'm not over enthused about this idea -I've seen too many cases of people investing a bunch of time and money with the expectation this will be a big money maker when it isn't, and I've seen too many people say "great idea" and then when they see the cost their interest wains. For example, the spur gear would cost close to $40 and cost another $7 to ship, which means that I would have to charge at least $60 to make it worthwhile to do. In any case, this will give me a chance to collate the requests and to see if this makes sense for you and me.
Stay tuned!
ProPlanner Feed Motor Upgrade - status

Depending on the cost, I certainly would be interested. I picked up the controller from the same source that you recommended. Considering the cost of shipping from a place like Digikey/Jameco/Mouser, it probably makes sense to do it in a small batch.gpmark wrote:This project is moving a little bit slower than anticipated due to surgery last week.
