I am anxiously awaiting delivery of my Ebay win for a 1989 Headstock Assembly. That's an upgrade from '55 Greenie. I hope a real UPGRADE.

The bandsaw mod is on my schedule for this year.

Great to hear you've god re-saw access. That will be a valuable resource. Birds of a feather...

Yeah, it turned out pretty well.

Not as thick as I'd hoped for, but with the starting width being 1", I knew I wasn't going to end up with a 1/2" veneer. It's just a hair under 3/8, so it'll work.

Good luck on the headstock upgrade!

Well, I got my 35 year newer headstock and what a difference having double bearing quill makes. I turned a 6.5" diameter shallow bowl of poplar and it came out pretty nice.
