I can relate!! In my case it was a wife and FOUR daughters. To make matters worse, the old house only had ONE bathroom!! Fortunately, it had a detached garage that had been converted into an apartment, that I converted into a man-cave/shop. Spent a LOT of time out there!

In my neighborhood is a portapotty. It may be because it is close to the garden or it may be the escape hut from the estrogen ocean. :D

I called Shopsmith on Monday (they did not leave a tracking number) and, with a little difficulty, finally got the number. Called Fedx frieght and they said it will be in for delivery on the 14th. or, if I wanted to pick it up earlier, I could pick it up on the 13th. but I would have to pay an additional $80.00 for expidited (as opposed to economic) shipping. Otherwise they could not release it until the 14th. I figure I already paid too much for shipping ($300.00) and after waiting 6 weeks another day would have to do. I cannot take time off from work per say so I elected to pick it up tomorrow. FedX will call me when it is available for pick up. I plan on calling them at 8:30am and then swing by, pick it up, unload it at the house and then try to focus on getting enough work done to stay out of trouble for the rest of the day. I do not have a relieve person to cover on my project any more (the guy the boss wanted me to train got fired last November and my boss has not "found anyone else since) so I have to make do until "they" make a decision. I will probably not be getting much sleep in the next few days:D :D but I will take some photos. I have a prior commitment this Sat. But after that it will be getting everything up and put together. I hope to be making sawdust before the first day of Spring.

:D I got the call this morning. Good thing I was in the FedEx parking lot and I had already parked the truck:eek: I did take a couple of quick photos (I will post tomorrow) Got her loaded up and strapped in. No issues in getting her home. A bit of a bear to get unloaded and into the garage before I had to get back to work. Took just under an hour total so I only had to make up a VERY LONG EXTRA HOUR at work.
Got home and it was the LUCK O' THE IRISH and it's not even St. Patricks Day yet. I was very happy to see that the Power-pro was already mounted on the way tubes (I was not sure what to expect) as was the main table, saw blade, and end table. After a shredding frenzy of opening boxes and moving packing materials out of the way, I just sat down in the middle of "Hog Heaven" for a bit. Then (against my normal nature) I got all the printed materials together and looked for.... the directions:eek: After reading through them for a bit I tried to clear some space and take a quick inventory. Looks like everything arrived in Good shape. I got it flipped over and mounted the legs. The new legs still have to be drilled for the new caster wheels, so I got them marked as per the template and by then some "more urgent tasks" required my attention. by the time I completed them it was too late to get anything else done in the shop.:( I will take some reading materials to work and go through them when I get a chance. It is going to be a loooong day at work tomorrow.

Dusty requested on another thread that you check the size of the rear trunion holes(just loosen/remove one screw so as to not disturb the factory table alignment).

There has been considerable discussion regarding the 'proper' size of those holes since a mid 80's incident(SSSSSSS) where they were 3/8" rather than 1/2".

I predict yours are 1/2". If not, we have been mislead.

So a new 2012 model SS comes with a caster kit (extra cost?) and they don't predrill the holes in the factory? Seems kind of odd.
