The mp3 did not function as I believe you expected it to.

The clicking noise that you hear, does it occur at any time other than when you turn on OR turn off the Mark V?

When it does occur, does it click only once?

Were you not able to open the file on downloading and changing the extension to mp3 ? MP3 upload is not supported by the forum so had to change it to .txt.

It's a single click at the start and at the end.

Thanks

That was an interesting idea of how to posts sounds here, well done!

It sounds loud and very mechanical, none of my 4 sound like that starting or stopping. But then there are other motors used in these machines so it is possible that is what it should sound like.

Are you starting at "SLOW"? Audio sounds like it.

So I'm not much extra help here but mostly wanted to comment on your idea for mp3 audio. Now I wonder if avi of flv would work the same way.

save the *.txt file then replace the .txt with .mp3

now click on the new file and if you have a default mp3 player it will play.

I've also tested a .flv file here:

I get it to load but it only lasts a few seconds. Definitely not long enough to say it runs quiet or not.

How long must it run to say so? I did not hear any unusual noises. Startup and stopping sounded normal. Maybe I have heard noisier machines than thou!;)
