SwampGator, that pulley is either a cut down unit or from a Mark 2, either way it only has two steps.
10 E and ER models came with 3.

No whine from me. S&H was $13.50 in posting. Paid with no complaint. The recovery of eBay fees only came up as seller clarified a wrong fee mentioned in an automated message being sent to auction winners (That he was going to have to fix)

Yeah, yeah.............I've heard all the wisecracks already.
Anyway here is some more advice for those of you that don't know this about EBAY.
1) you can cancel a bid anytime you want. And so can the seller.
It doesn't matter what the seller says, you can. (people do it me once in awhile.) Whether it's right or wrong I won't make that judgement call, that's on you.
2) ALWAYS check with The Mothership (ShopSmith) on pricing and availability of an item before you bid.
You would be amazed how many times I have sold things for much more than what they cost new. It's not my fault that no-one checked. I didn't lie or cheat to get there, the bidder went there of his own free will.
(3) Always contact the seller with a question about the item or the shipping first. Sometimes the seller will work with you on the shipping price. sometimes he will send you extra pictures to peruse. Ebay charges the seller for EVERYTHING and they don't like us to contact off site. Now they make it virtually impossible for us to get hold of you. If you send him a contact, try and include an email address or phone number. They are constantly tightening the screws on the sellers, as they are jealous and greedy about not collecting every fee they can wrap their grubby little mitts around.
4)Besides all the up front listing fees between paypal and Ebay, the seller ends up paying 12-13% of all the money collected from the buyer.
Class dismissed. I'll be in my office all afternoon.

Thank you, Wiredone. You gave me info I had no idea was there. Is there going to be a test later? And, thank for revealing your eBay handle. I'll be looking out there to see what you have to offer.
And, good advice to check with Shopsmith site for prices before bidding. I just recently did a really stupid bid, but won. Again, thank you for the class.
