Thanks for the tip Bill, I was stuck on which way to go. I took your advice and
moved the arm up a little, along with the new bearings everything seams to be working just fine.
Thanks again for everyones help. This is a very helpful forum.

Thanks to all for the advice. I started by replacing the bearing and checking all adjustments.Still had a problem,so followed Bills's advice and tweeked the
upper shaft a little and everything seems to be working fine.
This the best place for advice on anything shopsmith.

Bent/wraped Upper bandsaw wheel

I have made a special jig using a dial indicatoir that I use to straighten the upper bandsaw wheel rim that has been bent/wrapped when someone tryed to get the bandsaw blade to track. I can straighten most upper bandsaw wheels if there is no cracks in the ribs. Let me know if anyone needs this service. Thanks,
