This post was created while running
ubuntu.
This is not a DUPLICATE POST.
I have noticed with this 'newer' computer running ubuntu, that the screen and pix are stretched widthwise out of proportion. ???
They both came up the same width (over width) JPG so I guess it is not Ubuntu...

AHAAA!!!
Most of the time these days I am running Chromium (the Linux version of Google Chrome) as a browser. I just shut it down and went back and started Firefox and JPG's posts are all wrapped the right length. I did see one of Terry's real wide but it had wide pictures and wrapped to that width.
Tells me it is browser and rendering related. Not a big problem but I will be sending info to the Google Chromium folks.
I'm satisfied now.
Thanks guys...

I think it's a combination of display resolution and JPG's signature line. If you look at his signature line, it's a LONG line of text with no spaces, and no automatic place to word-wrap. I bet if you set your display resolution to a higher resolution, or JPG put some spaces in his signature line the problem would go away.

That is easy enough to adjust!

I think you are saying that this got you closer but not all the way.
If that is correct may I suggest that momentarily you delete your signature to determine if that clears the problem completely. If it does, then restructure your signature; it is a bit verbose.
Or, if you have actually fixed your problem and I have not caught on - just ignore what I have suggested.
