Maybe not completely right.

I could also find an upcoming demo in an area where I know someone who could/would purchase on my behalf.:):)

The double tilt upgrade is "on special" for $389.00. I did not look to see if that was a bargain or not.;)

In fact I purchased an item that would not qualify for the lowes purchase agreement and I was not allowed to use my Lowes card thus lost the discount. This in my mind lessened the value of the demo's. I am a bit uncertain now if I would attend another demo, unless of course they are demoing the new Mark 2013. Jim

My experience was very different. I ordered double-tilt upgrade, 3 grade drum sander, new bearing shaper spindle and drum sander vacuum upgrade and got a discount on all of them.

I was told I could not order after the demo was over.

I paid $350.10 including shipping and it would have been less if I had a lowes card.

IIRC $389 is a major increase above its original price($100???)

I didn't think I wanted it or had budget when I did the PowerPro upgrade but I got the entire shaper kit for almost nothing and decided to get rid of my router table to make more room so the double tilt makes sense. Plus by selling my deluxe router table with accessories made the double tilt almost free.

You're right on. It was $289 when I went to the Lowe's Demo.

We were told that price increases were coming. They came!

Dave, that is much better than what I had in mind. I remember you posting this sometime back and I did not remember your set up at all. But, I love it and will get to it before I forget it. Thanks. ;)
