I still remember my father's YARD LONG slide rules. Wish I kept them!

He was one of the pioneers in the semiconductor industry. Was employee # 49 at a tiny memory company in Mt. View Ca, named intel. We saw what they did, didn't we?

Years ago I gave mine to my local high school chemistry class to mount on a historic display. Hope it's still there, probably with the notation: "do you know what this is?"
