My initial experience with joiner knive replacement

Post by wdelliott »

My first attempt at replacing joiner knives went well, thanks to the instructions and comments on this site.

The ultimate alignment used the sliding ruler method. It went well and I am pleased.

Total time: 30 minutes.

The wonderful payoff is sharp joiner knives. What a difference sharp blades makes. I delayed replacing knives out of some fear that the process was too complicated. Now I see that this fear was misplaced and I should have replaced the blades a long time ago.
