For anyone with a mark vii speed control cam meltdown. It isn't as bad as you may think.. I spoke with the rep from shopsmith and was put in contact with a gentleman at Battles Hardware. They. Have the cam for $97.00. Better than a dead machine. Their number is 562-698-3714. Hope this helps.

I contacted battles hardware in California and was able to order the last Cam they had today. They said the Gentleman that created them has died and they have no alternative source at this point.
