Here are some pictures of the steady rest. As I mentioned, from the SS Customer Rep, I bought 5 pieces...The support rod the Y adapter goes into, the Y adapter, the bolt for the Y adapter to the support rod, and the two bolts for the bearings. The bearings I bought at a Local Hardware store. Their 7/8"x1/4", and the tool rest with post I got on eBay for $10.

Most excellent! This clearly shows how this works. After things calm down at shopsmith I'll give them a call and get the parts I need. I hope they will have them in stock.
