I want a job at Walmart with the following responsibilities:

1. Counting the number of items in the basket in the 10 & 20 item limit checkout lanes and chastising those with more.

2. Traffic control in the store, writing stupidity tickets for those people that leave their carts in the middle of the aisle blocking passage or stopping in the middle and staring at merchandise.

3. Telling people that walk down the center of driving lanes while going to or from their vehicles to get the hell out of the way.

Aaaahhhhhh, where's the Christmas Spirit?

Guy Guys what do you expect these are Walmart shoppers?

I saw a guy with a cane that was upset because a car came too close to him stand in the middle of the street and holler "really" at the guy in the car. He didn't move just stood there repeating "Really". I was waiting for the driver to run over him and say, "Yes really"

What worries me is the parking lot racers, you know the ones that go twice as fast in the parking lot as they do when they are in the left lane of a four lane highway and you are behind them trying to get somewhere.

I have seen too many kids almost get it when mom opens the door and kid runs for freedom from being packed up in the car.

I used to get upset at the selfish, ego driven, rude people in WalMart. Now I just grab a seat, let the wife shop, and enjoy the show. Or, HD and Lowes are right next door.

I don't go to Lowe's when the wife is shopping near by. If I did, she'd get done shopping before I was ready to quit browsing and I'd be getting a phone call "Where are you, I'm ready to go home".

There must be seriously wrong with me. I read the walmart stories and give thanks I do not darken there stores or parking lots.

I don't think this was an example so much of "walmart people" as just the general degradation to which the consuming public has regressed. I stopped at the Murphy gas station outside the Walmart to fill my mom's van up for her. One way out is down the outermost lane of the WallyWorld parking lot. As I'm heading toward the exit, which is closer to the store, a see a lady get in her car and the backup lights came on. I stopped and waited for her (it was that or get crunched). She backed out of the space, pulled forward and into a space THREE cars closer to the doors and got out, headed for the store!! All I could do was watch this overweight lady with a cigarette hanging out and think "really????" Sheesh!

Now don't get me started on the fine folks that park in the handicap spots when they are quite able to get around but are using someone else's card. Even when there is a non-handicap spot just a few feet away, they will still take up a spot and prevent somebody who really needs the spot from parking there

You hit my hot button. I suffer from arthritic joints and use a handicapped pass for parking. Some days I can walk without a cane. Same days barely at all. I hate the rude stares from people when I limp away from the car.

More than that I hate the perfectly healthy young Mother types who take up handicapped spaces and stand there cooing at their babies. I asked one such Mother why and she responded my baby was hungry and it was the closest space to the store so buzz off.

Here in Wichita the police have enlisted retired people to take a class and drive around and take information and pictures of people parked in handicap spots without a placard. Then the police send you a ticket in the mail.
