The ISNS 5/8" Shopsmith adapter uses a standard 5/32" Allen. The IFNS 5/8" adapter uses a 3mm Allen or "grub screw" as they say in New Zealand.
The toughest Allen screw I ever fought was on a tractor. I got it loose and still was unable to remove whatever it was I was trying to take off. For some reason while scratching my, ahem….head, I removed the Allen screw, only to find another Allen screw that was still tight…doh! Mission accomplished without any damage.
