I did see the first post, even responded to it in the second post. I just didn't know the jointer was also made by C.C. Engineering, I don't see anything that says it was. The knock-off that Menard's sold wasn't actually made by Menard's, it was made in Asia. I thought perhaps the 6" jointer could have been sourced from the same manufacturer as Menard's. Just a thought, never mind....
