His description lists it as a scroll saw, I wonder if after the sale you could ask him to buy you a scroll saw as listed in the description. Of course he might ask you to send back the jig saw

I don't know about the entire warranty, which is shown here. http://www.shopsmith.com/markvsite/guarantee.htm But the limited lifetime warranty against defects in material or workmanship (number 4 on the list) DOES transfer. So I was told by Shopsmith myself when I sent my second hand 520 back to Shopsmith last year when I was having trouble with my rip fence alignment.dusty wrote:This Mark 7 is new and covered by a warranty...maybe!
