A nice looking installation. I never considered this option as the motor switches were always bad on the Mark VIIs I disassemblied. I was not sure what to do with the motor pan holes for the vacuum since I sawed the vacuum shafts off a couple of them and the motor pan was slightly wider. Switching the motor to the Mark V motor pan was the path I took. I still have 4 Mark VII motors set aside for this conversion once I got all my current jobs and projects done. Next years projects. After doing a few Mark VII motor conversions, I learned how to reverse the GE and AO Smith 1 1/8 HP motors so these Mark VII motors were stored as it took more time to do their conversion for the Mark V.

I set them together to take pix for damagi to peruse. The MVII motor will go into my MVII when restoration is complete.

I think it could be made to work, but the belt cover?????
