very nice!!! Can you give me the deminsions of the ER DP stand? Length, spread of feet at the floor level, both ways, ect?

Bob, I've made a shorty base for an ER, but I used the metal legs. All I did was shorten the boards so the diagonal braces meet in the center. (Really, I moved one leg so the diagonals met at the screw hole, and chopped off the overhang.)
I'd be more inclined to turn the whole machine around on the base, so the table is centered over the bench, instead of hanging off the end. The only thing you lose, is the ability to drill into long pieces, but you DO have a horizontal drill-press, too.

Fed, I have the metal basis/legs, and the original 2x8 frame, Many Martinis to night!!!!!!!! but reiterate on the recut,/ of the lenght???

Fred, no need to on the dimensions, Skou, gave me an easier idea since I have the metal legs, with the lift/castors/ kit.
