BTW yes you can check the web to see what was ordered and I normally do this but it has been a little crazy right now.
Back in 2010 our son in law had Appendicitis, before they could operate it burst. It was there then it was gone. Normally this is not good. Peritonitis and other bad things can happen, but for some reason testing reveled nothing. They gave him a special diet and did more check ups.... Then gave him a clean bill of health. The word miracle was used.
That was until mid last week when her started having pains and generally feeling poorly. First thought was some flu or other bug. The pain got worse and on Sat. he went in ER, this time they decided he needed emergency surgery.
So the last couple of days things were on hold wondering if we were going to DE or just what might happen. The good news is that he did fine and was discharged Sunday evening.
So our normally quiet life style got a little ruffled around the edges and I didn't think about checking the order or a lot of other not so critical stuff.
