Not sure but I think Roberts Saw uses a computer. If not they have been around for so long I would guess they have it memorized.

Yes, I will commend them for that. And I actually meant to get around to that aspect of it and it was the whole purpose I mentioned it. Most people aren't anti-social introverts like me and would prefer a phone conversation and the fact that they called rather than emailed (same day too!) does speak highly of them. I just don't like it.

I totally understand Heath and agree. I really hate talking on the phone as well (I thought I was the only one) and I absolutely refuse to give a low wage call center employee any credit card info over the phone EVER! I'm much more comfortable doing that online.

I don't recall but they all fit in a 12x12x6 USPS Priority Mail box (around $15). I talked with the owner's son (who I think manages things). He said with their machines they take off the minimal amount based on the tooth that is the lowest (or something like that). He said that assures all teeth are the same height and ground at the same angle. He told me that based on the way I take care of my blades they can go through a lot of sharpening before I will ever need another one. As I mentioned, I was really impressed with how sharp they were when I got them back. Once you find a good mechanic with decent prices there is never a reason to look for another one.

If you have someone who really does good work then keep using that person. If you are looking for a source this company is first class.

that may be; however, Dynamic Saw thinks so highly of us they have named a carbide tooth grind the California Triple Chip!

Some SA pointed out So Cal and Fla on opposite banks.

It was pointed out that another Fla 'helper' was not in So Cal but Fla.

Guy in So Cal acknowledges river bank 'detail' and touts the NY sharpener.
