A very long time ago I posted this "sled" that I use for small parts. It was a rebuild of one that I had pretty much used up. It was such a good jig that I had to replace it.

Some of the parts on this project are small so again I hooked up the jig to cut them. The picture is a little out of focus but you get the idea, right?

When it came to some other band saw cuts that could use the same sort of sled I did a make shift one. I used a miter gauge with an auxiliary fence, then used some double sided tape to attach a small board to the auxiliary fence. Since the cut was limited to a certain depth of cut I added a second board with a clamp to limit the travel of the gauge. Bingo it was time to cut a bunch of slots.

Anyway that was yesterday, today was just hours of new fun and a lot of sanding which I find distasteful even in the best of times.
