OK, where is our "royal highness" from? Last city was Chicago, in Illinois.

How many Illinois former Governors are currently making license plates? How many states can come close to that record?

(I just looked, it's 4 out of the last 7!)

Arizona has removed some "nutjob" governors, but they just got removed. None of them are in the "license plate factory."

(Oh, I wouldn't spend $50 on this, if it included free shipping!)

i apologize for the generalization. The reference was to those in higher power not those a a level who don't have control. Please remember that when people criticize government employees it is not the front line fighters but the generals and bureaucrats who sit behind desks, collect exorbitant salaries and throw their employees and the country under the bus to protect their positions, salaries and benefits.

It is - most of the time. If you are not interested in the political side tracks, you'll have to learn to ignore them. It seems that they will not just cease. I used to be a really bad contributor but have since mended my ways.

I got a few emails and private messages alerting me to just how obnoxious some of my political thoughts and attitudes were.

I always try to ignore them by noticing the subject and avoiding the thread...but it's hard in cases like this when a SS-related thread is hijacked to become a political venting. Our Country is way too full of divisive, partisan anger and rhetoric and we are bombarded by it from every angle every day...me, I just want to hunker down and try to keep my family fed, clothed, and housed and when I'm lucky enough to have a few minutes or hours to escape, to try and make some saw dust. For those like me who would prefer to not be bombarded by politics here as well (regardless of what side of the aisle it comes from), it would be nice if those inclined to discuss or vent could do so in threads that are clearly labeled as such and avoid hijacking on-topic threads. Just my $0.02.

Are you kidding? That's a very well cared for Mark V "Rusty". A very limited production model between the "Greeny" and the "Goldy". I'm going to call the old guy right now and offer him top dollar. Funny you would mention that - my first thought when I saw this rusty Mark V was he should get a sharpie and write "520" on it and double his asking price

Y'all need to look past the rusty blades etc.

The way tubes are not rusted.

The table tubes are 'reasonably' rust free.

Ditto the spt mounting tubes.

Tis a greenie ('A' headstock) though so likely still a Gilmer drive.



Still overpriced by at least a factor of 4.


I do not think it has been 'outside' very long.

Rare as a production model but an all-too-common user modification.
