I already have a set of Shopsmith stickers. I think I'll look for a cheap, round clock at Big Lots, or someplace similar and make my own.

You can make a clock to fit, pretty cheaply. Try - http://www.klockit.com buy the glass at a local glass shop. They'll cut to fit whatever surround you make.

Had a good laugh at this discussion this morning. I do not have a clock in my shop, and normally I am with you guys on not wanting one. I see what time it is when I need to come in for a water or bathroom break. However, in the winter time when it is always dark when I get home from work I have been "in the zone" and kept working until 2am without noticing. Makes for a rough morning at work. Funny thing is I can barely make it to 11pm otherwise.

The solution I try to stick to is keep the radio on. I don't have to worry about picking the songs, and occasionally they mention what time it is.

Well I guess the winner isn't going to drop by and post about the "deal" they got on a $21 clock... ;) It's fun sometimes to watch someone get "target lock".

A clock in the shop?? Why? Does it have a reason, purpose or anything similar?

This is such a novel and strange concept! A clock in a sanctuary. The next thing one of you will be writing about is having a phone in the shop!  That's too scary to even think about even with Halloween approaching!

If this was April 1st, I'd realize this ruse about a clock was just a cruel joke.

Anyway, I thought I'd follow this thread to see if I could make any sense out of it, but I know that would be nearly impossible for me. I guess some things are best left unknown. :D
I have a Harley-Davidson clock in my garage/shop. It has a cool vintage oil can logo on it. The battery died long ago apparently around 6:17 - not sure if it was AM or PM.

The clock went for $107.50 on the 23rd.
