I recently brought HF 11 drawer 3 piece tool cabinet ($299) for $160 with discounts. I cut off the tool storage section on the bottom cabinet and mounted the 3 cabinets on a table I already had. The metal was a thicker gauge than most tool chests I have and appears well made. I found this interior of the cabinets had some areas with little or no primer or paint. The drawers was well painted. I would recommend removing the drawers to insure the insides are well primed and painted.

After thinking about this post I should have noted that while you have seen the handle in two positions you really have two more not shown. Well that and option of moving to any one of those 4 positions on the other side of the cart.
Hope that makes thing clearer for those thinkers out there. Don't want to mislead you.

One thing I discovered was that the handle seemed to be getting in my way when I was using the top as a work surface. The way I had it attached it was higher then the work surface, the good part was it worked as a stop that way, but also got in the way with longer pieces.

I still haven't started on plan for what goes where in the cart but it has been handy while doing lathe work this winter. Nice to stick the tools in one of the larger drawers and have access to them so close to where I'm working. One of these days I need to make a chisel holder, might be able to use the handle on the cart to hold that when needed.

Speaking of these carts, and we are, I got to help my oldest son put two of them together tonight.
They have made several changes, most of the better. One thing we found was that my vintage cart will allow to Plano Plastics box to stack on the bottom, his does not.
The bottom shelf now has a channel on the bottom where the casters fit, I believe this is a better design then what I have which is a plane bottom. They have also put nice fitting plastic ends in the handle. They also added 2 more screwdriver areas....
