You're right Steve, it is a Ford logo so shall we say 302 (small block)?
Sorry Dusty, too heavy for old guys to lift that high ...... :-(

"Bondo Pose."
Photographic Pose of a woodwoorker (lumber jock) taken on their work bench upon completion of their work bench.
Originated by Lumberjocks member bondogaposis in response to the infamous blue haired fairie posted in the Work Bench Smack down thread on Lumberjocks.
There are some pretty amazing benches in the 8500+ posts in that forum thread! Most of the benches in that thread are the more traditional woodworkers bench for better using hand tools.
Here is the short list of people tagging their bench with "smackdown"
http://lumberjocks.com/projects/tag/smackdown
Here is a link to my mini bench (more like a lawn mower motor) but it does employ the wedge powered wagon vice which I can attest to being very solid!
I have not posted it here previously as it was an all hand tool build and no Shopsmith was harmed in its creation.
Split top Saw Bench Warning, there is also a "bondo pose" there.

Beautiful!
The bench, I mean.
Thanks for sharing the link to your blog. I appreciate the step-by-step description. It looks like you have designed a lot of usefulness in this little bench.
