the owner sent the wrong one when I asked for it. He was selling a 10E and 10ER. Here is the 10ER.

Sorry the wrong picture was sent by the previous owner here is the 10ER. The owner was selling both 10E and 10ER.skou wrote:Jerry, that looks like it might be an E model, or has an E model ext table. An ER ext table would be made out of aluminum, and have a cast iron bracket. Yours is plywood, and has the aluminum bracket. You also have an E model rip fence.
If you replace the ext table, make sure to get an ER tailstock as well. The ER fence will fit right on your table, (Which looks to be an ER model.)
You should have ALL the manuals you need, on that thumb drive.

$125 for the 10ER and $50 for the Speed Changer.joshh wrote:You snake! I've been scouting an ER for months and I must have missed that one
All joking aside, how much did you get it for? Everything here is way overpriced used. I had to drive to your neck of the woods for my last one.
Thank You so much. I was going to rely on Fred Sheldon to help me figure all this out (I still am) but now I will be able to make sure we do it correctly. Not to imply Fred doesn't know what he is doing - just the opposite he has rebuilt like 3 or 4 of these 10ER's already. I think the elf's visited his garage and helped him do all of that. It is a miracle how well these turn out when refurbished. Fred's look like showroom quality as do most of them I've seen here on the site. That is what drove me to get one of my own. Well actually my Prius drove me to get it !SDSSmith wrote:Nice toys.....I have had fun with my Ringmaster and the speed changer is a great addition to the model 10, especially for drill press and lathe modes. The speed control assembly appears to be on the wrong side of the castings. Here are manuals if you did not get them:

Technically, it will work just fine on either side. You just may be more likely to scrape your knuckles when turning the dial as configured in the picture. The "correct" assembly makes that a little less likely.SDSSmith wrote:The speed control assembly appears to be on the wrong side of the castings.
