installing gear rack for M-VII

gear rack cost

I paid $200 to get the aluminum gear rack made. The machinist said it was more involved than the thought it was going to be. He said if anyone else wants one it would be $400. He did a great job though and such a pleasure to have working again. But that is pretty expensive and it is not necessary to use the Shopsmith.

I have a set of tubes with standard racks available if anyone needs them...contact me via email and we can get things sorted.
