This looks like the same stuff. Ace use to carry it but the last time I asked they had no idea what I was talking about....

FWIW Scotch 3/4" Mylar tape works nicely and is 'inexpensive', and 'thin' and self adhering. Kicker is keeping it 'adhered'.

OK the drawers work freely again now that we have humidity. Here is a picture of the dresser.
When the drawers first began to work free I was able to see what was going on. What is happening is the sides of the dresser (made of solid birch, air dried) cup to the outside when they dry out in the winter, causing a major pinch point in the middle of the drawer's travel. I decided t screw a slab of ash in the center of the carcase (picture below), hoping this will hold the dresser sides in place and not allow them to cup when they dry out this winter. We shall see in 6 months or so. My multi-year experiment in wood movement.
