Also do you have a new power coupler? Somewhere here it's been said that an old one can cause problems when using it on a powerpro.

I don't have a Power Pro but I have had a few setscrews loosen up over the years. I can't find them locally so I will have to order but I intend to start replacing some of mine with brass tipped setscrews. The flat brass tip against hardened steel acts as a brake (softer material against hard steel). I have used some successfully in larger sizes in high vibration farming applications like self propelled combines and a hammer mill. Actually the hammer mill it wasn't a brass tipped setscrew but a ball of brass made by melting a little off of the end of a brazing rod with the torch and putting the little ball in the hole first and tightening the regular setscrew down on it.

Set screw
I replaced it this morning and still works loose. I know I could just have the disc used by it self but the projects I'm working on calls for band saw and sanding. It would be an inconvenience to change back and forth. The brass set screw sound interesting where might they be available? The thing that gets me is that this is a new problem, I have run both bandsaw and sanding disc for years without problems????

Check for a hairline crack down the length of the threads. I had a hub that did the same thing. I couldn't see the crack without REALLY looking.

Not on the set screw, down the threads they screw into.
