It really is a great book. I'd definetly recommend getting a copy sooner vs. later.

For the lathe, the concepts should be the same no matter what lathe is turning the wood. I do think any good lathe videos will help you.

So is that just an online version of this same book I would buy then JPG ? By the way thanks for the link. I will be reading through that material now.

There are 5 or 6 versions over the years. The online one is essentially the latest version.

This is how I read it:
"...The satisfaction of taking a pile of boards and creating something useful with your own two hands is enormous in the grand scheme of things."

Seems the editor has been there:)
