Put my order in today from Stockroom supply. Found a few other things I "needed".

Yes those connectors seem to be the correct parts that I was looking for. The price seem pretty nice with the sale going on so now all I have to do is wait to see them in person to know for sure.

Shipping was $15, but I saved a lot more then that on the things I ordered so I'm going to look at this a plus.

When I have them in hand I'll let you know if they are the quality ones I wanted.

Again thanks everyone for helping out!

Forgot to mention that Stockroom Supply uses paypal, another reason I went with them. Another layer of protection.

Got a few router bits because they were so inexpensive, I've not used their versions yet but even if I don't love them they work for things like birdhouses.

'Who's' protecting you from Paypal? They like to sit upon your money pile!;)

Need I be protected? I use PayPal frequently and have had no difficulty.

If you get a refund, they do not automatically put the money into your source account.

You have to initiate the process to transfer the funds from their 'pocket' to your 'pocket'.

They will point out a balance if it stays in their account long(month+).

Reviewing monthly summary will also flag you.

Point being YOU must initiate transfer back to your account. How convenient for 'them'!

I've found it depends upon how you are using PP. When receiving payments from PP, yes, they do wait (and that has allowed scammers to steal from you).

However, I have used PP (via my debit card) and when requesting a refund, it was immediately returned to the account that uses the debit card.

I'm not thrilled that PP keeps my money (so they can earn interest from it) for such a long time, as well as taking a bigger chunk than conventional credit cards when selling something, but the convenience for me outweighs the problems of collecting. Waiting for a check then waiting for it to clear. Stopped taking money orders, because even the USPS ones are being faked!

I've not had anyone AFAIK, try and scam me when paying via PP because I make a stipulation that the stuff I sell cannot be picked up until "after" the payment has cleared and been transferred to my account. I've heard nasty stories of people selling cars, boats, etc. and taking payment through PP (" let me use my smart phone and I'll transfer the money right now so you can see I've sent it to your account !"), only to find that as soon as the buyer takes the item, they canceled the PP transaction.

I also have separate accounts in separate banks for the debit card purchases versus checking account that PP uses.

I've sold less than a handful of items on EBay (many years back) and never used PP to receive payments. I guess I'll find out how their double dipping system works in the near future. But then again, for people like me, they are nearly the only game in town.

Be well,
Ben

Oh it works for me also and I prefer it to other methods, but I have only sold a couple of items and have repeatedly gotten refunds. I just fergit to xfer to 'my' pocket and they make interest off it I am sure!:)

My order arrived today.

The parts look like they will do the job just fine.

All of these are the new ones, a slight color offset as can be seen but I don't see any problems with that.

When I get some time I will drill and mount a pair of these to see if the pull strength is comparable, if not I can just add a few extras into the plan.

Shipping time wasn't bad either.

The router bits are Woodline (USA).

So if anyone else is interested I'd say go for it.
