OK here we go.
Last week my wife went to the hospital for cataract surgery and we had to be at the hospital at 5:30 am. When we came out there were thousands of these marks on the car. The most popular tree in this area is called the Live Oak.
Right now the oaks are in full pollination mode and the marks are from the pollen puffs from those trees. The wind blew them on to the surface where they broke apart and left the comet like streaks. The entire car looked like a deep space image from the Hubble telescope.
The darkness of the image results from the car being a dark metallic maroon. The reflection from the metallic component of the paint is what causes the red twinkling effect of the background.
I just thought it looked cool
I told you that it was "wood" related.
