As Rob answered, it's not a problem to change blades.
Also, if you have the eccentric mounting tubes and no other tools to change out, you don't need to move the band saw. I my case, I only switch it out when I need to use my strip sander, then it is a bit of a problem as I am not as strong as I used to be.
