Yeah, they are eccentric. The lathe tailstock piece has a couple of collar rings with set screws that I dropped and retightened, so it is right. I guess I can do the same with the bandsaw set screws.

The eccentric tubes are height adjustable with their own set screws.

I think most Shopsmith bandsaws have plastic covers.

The two set screws just mentioned are inside the bandsaw.

The miter gauge slots are for an 'extension'.

If you go to the appropriate section of "Power Tool Woodworking for Everyone" you will find a lot of hints on things you can do with the band saw and special jigs too.

It's not quite that simple but horizontal and vertical alignment of SPTs to the power hub is certainly not hard.

Thanks! There are some amazing ideas in there. I had no idea a bandsaw was so useful. I liked those table legs especially.
