Thanks Bill, I'll have to take those steps this coming week as were are headed to San Francisco shortly.
I am assuming that the previous owner had some kind of difficulty with this but didn't want to perform the maintenance himself and just put a newer carriage and work table on the Mark V.
I'm sure, now, that some simple maintenance will have this working well.
My help kit arrived from Shopsmith today and I'm pleased with the Mark V Alignment & Maintenance manual that came with it, very well done.
Main table/Carriage question.
