What kind of patio? Poured concrete pad? Cut them down to below the top of the slab, and use them for the foundation.berry wrote:My daughter wants to take out a deck and put in a patio. And that's my problem.
If there is rebar in there, bend it horizontally, splay it out, and use it for more reinforcement.
