The only other machine besides the SS was my hand drill. I just couldn't figure out a way to get my SS inside to drill all the #3 screw holes (dang-it, maybe next time).reible wrote:You did happen to use a shopsmith to build that did you?

edit: Forgive my senior moment. I did use my random-orbit sander to rough sand before cutting pieces and my oscillating spindle sander to get the 3 curved pieces to the same curvature.
