I don't doubt that but that must indicate that my lifting capacity is greatly diminished.

After some data collection (weight/inch of records), I conclude that a 14" box of records (5 records weighed 3.5 pounds) would weigh 55.8 pounds. That is about 1/2 the weight of a bag of concrete (94 pounds) which I can no longer handle.:eek:

We are discussing this here rather than in Community because it deals with the capacity of a shop made wooden box used to store and carry 33 1/3 rpm records thus General Wood Working.

OP said he made it for SEVENTY-EIGHTS. Which I wood think wood weigh heavier.:eek:
